Sutton Car Rental
Sutton is a town located about eleven miles (17.6km) South of London, and is one of the biggest metropolitan centres in the London Plan. The central housing area and the high street has many Victorian and Edwardian buildings, especially the houses. There are three large churches in the centre of Sutton, St Nicholas Church, Trinity (Methodist) Church and the Sutton Baptist Church. Sutton United FC is the town's main football club and currently play in the Conference League, with their home ground located in Gander Green Lane.
Sutton High street begins North of Marshall Road and continues for approximately one mile up to the railway station, near the Grove Road junction. There are two large shopping centres within the High Street, St Nicolas Centre is the largest with five levels for a Debenham's department store, and three main levels. The other shopping centre is Times square, which the smaller of the two and has many retail shops and business's. During shopping hours, the central area is pedestrianised so that the many restaurants have outside tables for the customers.
There are excellent public transport links through the town, including train and bus routes. Sutton Railway Station is the main train station serving the town, with routes to St Pancras International, London Bridge and London Victoria Station. There are also services to towns outside London, including West Croydon, Epsom, Epsom Downs, Dorking and many more.
