Teesside Airport Car Rental
Teesside Airport (Durham Tees Valley Airport) is located in the North East of England, about five and a half miles (8.8km) South East of Darlington. The airport serves North Yorkshire and County Durham, with rail services provided by Teesside Airport Station. It is one of the smaller airports in the country, but provides services to many locations in the UK, and several to European destinations.
As part of a major re-development, the airport was re-named Durham Tees Valley Airport on 21 September 2004, to place it in a better location geographically. The airport started a Passenger Facility Fee (PFF) back in November twenty ten, for passengers to gain entry to the departure lounge. The fees were six pounds for adults, and two pounds for children between three and fifteen.
Sky Express is an airport bus service which runs to/ from the airport to Darlington Railway Station, which was introduced back in May two thousand and five. It was a free service for passengers only, and also connects to Darlington town centre. Road access to the airport is via the A67 directly, and also the A1(M) A66 and A19 corridors.
